Top Countries other than USA, UK for Indian Students to study abroad – Times Now

Many Indian Students have a desire to study abroad. Usually, Indian Students prefer to go USA or UK to pursue their higher education, however, there are other countries which have now emerged as a preferred destination to study abroad. Here is a list of countries other than USA and US to study abroad.

Over the last 5 years, there has been an increase of Indian students enrolling in universities in New Zealand. For field such as horticulture, dairy technology, forensic science, marine engineering, geothermal energy and biotechnology, New Zealand’s institutes are considered to be the best in the world. In the global peace index rankings – New Zealand stand at 2nd position with score of 1.269

Indian students often prefer going to Singapore, especially for its world class management institutes. Apart from good management institutes, the Singapore Government pays 75% of the tuition fees of the international students and in return the students have to work for 3 years in the country. Through this, many students get job exposure as well. On the global peace index, Singapore ranks 9th with a score of 1.326.

Over the years, France has emerged as a growing academic hub. With over 3500 educational institutes, public funded universities and Grandes Écoles, Indian students get various options to select from in the European country. France is at the 65th position on the Global Peace Index 2022 with a score of 1.895.

Germany has always been a top destination for Indian Students to pursue their higher education. Compared to other countries, Germany has proved a become a much more affordable option for Indian Students. For the Global Peace Index 2022, Germany ranks at the 16th position with a score of 1.462

Denmark has also proved to become a top destination for Indian Students. With a high standard of living, high standards of safety, low crime rates and innovative education, many Indian students have taken a liking to the ‘Study in Denmark’ option. On the Global Peace Index 2022, Denmark ranks 4th with a score of 1.288
